Imoje Aikhoje is a Director based in London.
With training in screenwriting, directing, cinematography and editing, he has developed a multifaceted skillset that deeply informs his creative vision. Alongside directing he is currently a Senior Creative Editor at Hogarth.
Originally starting out in music videos, he's gone on to direct a number of short films and work on productions for the BBC, Channel 4, CNN and Google. His work has screened at the Vancouver Independent Film Festival and London Shorts.
In 2020 he was awarded a scholarship with DRUM Studios which included a production role on the EMMY award-winning Documentary ‘Queen of Speed’ and a placement on the Goldsmiths' College Documentary Film MA. In 2023 The Kusp awarded him a scholarship for the London Film School’s Directing Summer School.
His experimental docudrama ‘Red Flag’ won awards for “Best Student Short” and “Best Short Drama” at the Bright International Film Festival and Falcon International Film Festival.
Obsessed with intense imagery, Imoje always strives to present authentic and meaningful stories.
